They can only be managed by using industry 4.0 methods. In this context, digitization is implemented in quality assurance, too - fostering a significant increase in product and process quality. The presendt study reveals the current state of digitalization and the opportunities and challenges associated with it - in the view of experts and decision makers of the manufacturing industry.
